ON AIR PERSONALITIES

Andy Bukowski 6-9 AM

Andy Bukowski has been working for Real Oldies 1250 in sports and production for years and has served many roles at the station. He is an avid professional and college sports fan and loves calling our play-by-play sports broadcasts. Andy enjoys the outdoors and is an avid fisherman. In addition to his work at Real Oldies 1250, Andy has worked at multiple radio stations in Springfield, Northampton, and has done freelance work in Hartford. He currently produces the football, basketball, and hockey radio broadcasts for The University of Massachusetts Sports Network. We're happy to have Andy as our morning show host.

Bruce Marshall 9 - 2 PM and Saturday 10 - 2

Bruce began his career in radio at his local high school radio station. Bruce graduated from Emerson College in Boston with honors and a degree in Mass Communications.  Bruce's radio career started at WOKW, a family owned station. Bruce moved to Western Massachusetts and was involved with media through his careers in radio, newspaper, advertising and promotion. Bruce was involved in the ownership of WESO in Southbridge, MA and most recently here, at The Valley's Classic Hits.  Bruce sponsors and appears at many car shows throughout the summer season.  Bruce and his family are local residents and he currently volunteers for several military organizations including Military Order of the Purple Heart and local VFWs.

Gary James 2 - 6 PM, Saturday 2 - 6 PM and Sunday 5 - 9 PM

I started in radio at the tender age of 15 as a board operator.  I got my first on air job at 1250 WARE in Ware, Mass.  I must have liked it because I stayed there for 18 years! While there I also worked at stations in Hartford, Boston part time and was PD in Portsmouth, NH. The opportunity came to put WMEX back on the air and it was re-born again at 106.5 with the original music and jingles from the 50s and 60s along with help from the original star of 1510 WMEX in Boston, Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsburg.  I continue to spend my time “spinning” online.

Peter Tripp 6 PM - Midnight

Peter Tripp has been in radio since the age of 11, when he was forced to become a DJ because the station he built at home could not afford the high priced radio personalities.  He pursued electronics when he realized could not make his voice go as high as Arnie "Woo Woo" Ginsburg's, but today he and his wife Kelly are heard doing voiceovers all around New England and in NYC.
